Up-and-coming progressive leader Aisha Wahab makes her entrance into politics with a successful run at Hayward City Council. 

Running against a tough field of incumbents, Aisha won over the hearts and minds of Hayward residents through the use of an elevated documentary style TV ad that helped her become the first ever Afghan American woman elected to public office in the U.S.
